Since beginning his career in 1988, he has gained extensive experience in every aspect of the sport, including working as a groom, exercise rider, owner, breeder, and trainer. Licensed as a Quarter Horse trainer since 1999, Bob has built a successful racing program founded on horsemanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to treating every horse as an individual. Throughout his career, horses under his care have made more than 2,300 starts, earning over $3.18 million (USD) while recording more than 315 victories and over 1,000 top-three finishes. A multiple Stakes-Winning Trainer, Bob has guided numerous horses to success at the highest levels of Quarter Horse racing. Among his most notable accomplishments was training the exceptional mare All Wacked Out, whose career earnings exceeded $200,000 (USD) and who became one of the most accomplished Quarter Horses to race in Ontario.

Over the past five years, Bob has consistently ranked among the Top 100 Quarter Horse trainers in North America by wins and has regularly been recognized as one of Ontario’s top five trainers. His reputation has been built not only on success at the racetrack but also on his dedication to sound horsemanship, individualized care, and the long-term development of every horse entrusted to his program.
In addition to his accomplishments as a trainer, Bob has been a dedicated leader and advocate for the Quarter Horse racing industry. He has served as President of Quarter Racing Owners of Ontario Inc. (QROOI) since 2007, has been a member of the American Quarter Horse Association Racing Committee since 2010, and was elected AQHA Ontario Director in 2022.
