Bob has been involved in Quarter Horse Racing since 1987 He started working for long time QH trainer Joe Tavares. It didn't take long before Bob had the "itch" to own his own horse, which he accomplished in 1995 with a Duck Dance (TB) filly named ChaChaChooChoo. After 8 years of working with Tavares, Bob ventured out on his own and got his trainer license. Since then, he has grown his training operation to an average of 15 horses in training per season. Marie got hooked on QH Racing in 2001 - with Bobs help of course! She had grown up with a back-yard type horse as a child but had been away from horses for quite some time before the introduction to this exhilarating sport! It didn't take long before she was hooked! Marie is pictured above with her first home-bred Lose Your Wranglers

The Farm
Our farm is located in beautiful Scugog Township - Ontario, Canada. We are a convenient 45 minutes from Ajax Downs Racetrack, 90 minutes from Woodbine Racetrack and 3 hours from Fort Erie Racetrack. We are situated on 100 acres complete with a 3/8 sand training track, 2 horse starting gate and a 6 horse Odyssey Performance Exerciser. Our starting gates were custom designed to replicate the starting gates at Ajax Downs and our sand track is groomed regularly.
We offer competitive training rates with a consistent training schedule that has been perfected over our 30+ years of experience. Our feeding program includes Brooks Performance Feed and only the best quality hay. In fact, our hay is harvested right here on site, under our watchful eye. Over the years we have accumulated multiple winning ribbons for our hay so we really can say we feed only the best!
We offer 10 turn-out pastures, 2 large round pens, a 60 x 150 indoor riding arena and a fully fenced outdoor riding arena. All our paddocks are done in 4 board fencing.
